I fell in love with food while playing “cooking show” with my little sister in the 1980s. Decades later, I followed that passion to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to study the connections between food and personal wellness. Now I spend my time being a mother, food writer, and recipe developer. As a health-focused home cook, I develop and offer recipes for simple, whole-food meals appropriate for every member of the family. My cookbook, Feeding a Family – A Year of Simple and Healthy Family Dinners, was published by Roost Books in the spring of 2017 and was recently nominated for an IACP cookbook award. A paperback version, Feeding a Family – Simple and Healthy Weeknight Meals the Whole Family Will Love comes out in November, 2018.
